Hydrogeological Investigation

Hydrogeology is the study of groundwater, it dealswith origin of groundwater, geological conditions under which groundwater exists and moves, distribution of groundwater, types of groundwater reservoirs, regime of groundwater, conditions of charging and discharging of groundwater, reserves, chemism, contamination and protection of groundwater.

D.O.O. “Geoprojekt“ has dealt for many years with hydrogeological investigations in different purposes, such as:

• Water supply of settlements,
• Exploitation of groundwater for bottling,
• Exploitation of groundwater for irrigation and industry,
• Exploitation of groundwater as condensator of thermal pump,
• Investigation in catchment areas for energetic purposes,
• Hydrogeological investigation for design of mini hydro power plants,
• Hydrogeological investigation for design of surface and ground water reservoirs,
• Hydrogeological investigation for irrigation,
• Hydrogeological investigation for determination of zones of sanitary protection of water springs, etc.
